Production Center. Coproduction in Russia.
The Andrei Konchalovsky Production Center was founded in 2003 and to this day plays a key role in Russian television and show business. The company mainly specializes in the realization and support of social and entertainment projects. The Center is the brainchild of Andrei Konchalovsky, a cult figure of Russian and international cinema. His immense experience, indisputable talent and personality are in many ways what make the Center's projects so successful and popular.
The Centre boasts clients such as leading Russian television channels NTV, RTR, "Cultura" and "Zvezda". Truly impressive and memorable television programmes have been made in collaboration with these television channels.
Co-production. Film making, documentary, TV programmes.
The Center created "Let's Eat at Home!", a programme commissioned by NTV, which was awarded the "Tefi" prize in 2007. It has also made a series of documentary films for "Kultura" and entertainment programmes for "Zvezda". One of the Center's international projects was the Russian episode of the American reality show "The Amazing Race-2". This programme was voted most educational American reality show and was awarded an "Emmy".
The Production Center has produced many feature films, including the conceptual film "Ryaba, My Chicken", (awarded the Grand Jury Prize at the "Kinoshock" festival) and "House of Fools" (awarded the Grand Jury Prize at the Venice IFF). In 2007, it released the commercial film "Gloss", which won the acclaim of its audiences and became one of the biggest events in the Russian film industry.
Production of music videos and entertainment projects
The Center's activities may be varied, but they all share a high production quality and a unique style. The Centre's most renowned activities include theatre productions in Russia and Europe, the organization of huge events on a grand scale, the making of music videos (for example, for "Eurovision" winner Dima Bilan) and the release of DVDs and publishing.
The Production Center's professional team of like-minded people and its level of technical support ensure that all projects, regardless of their subject matter or degree of complexity, are completed successfully. A recent example of the Centre’s achievements was its joint venture with "Zvezda": "Zvezda online", an entertainment project which brought together state of the art televisual and internet technology.
