Alexei Serebryakov
Born on June 3, 1964. Studied in the Faculty of Drama at The Russian Academy of Dramatic Arts (GITIS), under Oleg Pavlovich Tabakov. When he graduated, he was accepted at "Tabakerka", his professor's theatre-studio. Serebryakov worked with Oleg Tabakov for about five years, but as the actor himself admits, he didn't get enough satisfaction from his work there and, so, left the theatre. Since 1986, he has been deeply involved in the world of cinema. He was awarded a prize at the "Kinoshock" festival for his role of Evdokimov in S. Livnev's "Hammer and Sickle" (1994). At the "Viva, Russian Cinema!" festival he received Best Actor award for his role in "Tests for Real Men" (1999).
